Day Camp
Chinese Summer Camp Program
Day Camp program includes weekday activities: Chinese lessons, cultural activities, and morning excursions.
Campers spend Monday to Friday at camp participating in various activities and workshops, going on half-day excursions around the city, having lunch together, and taking Chinese classes in the afernoon.
Note: Day camp program finishes at 16:00, so it’s perfect for students who come to China with their parents – this way, they can explore China with their family in the evening and on weekends.

HIGHLIGHTS OF DAY SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
Opening Ceremony & Orientation
On the first official day of Camp, our campers meet the teachers and fellow campers during the Opening Ceremony. They will receive a warm welcome to China, get a chance to introduce themselves, and receive an essential Camp Kit.
Morning Field Trips
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, campers will have morning excursions to popular tourist sites in Beijing and complete missions and activities related to the locations.
Morning Cultural Activities
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, campers will participate in various cultural activities: Chinese Calligraphy, Making Lanterns, Making Shadow Puppets, Paining Beijing Opera Masks, Dumpling and Mooncake Cooking Workshops.

Afternoon Chinese Classes
In the afternoon, it’s time to learn Chinese! Our classes use various methods to help campers speak Chinese from Day 1, and use the language to solve everyday tasks. Classes are grouped by level: Total Beginners, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
Graduation Ceremony
The second Friday at camp is the Graduation Ceremony. Campers will showcase their Chinese skills with public speaking, singing, reciting poems, or (even!) performing Chinese rap songs.
Flea Market
Every Friday at camp, campers get the chance to spend their Camp Kuai — bonus camp money they’ve “earned” during the week by speaking Chinese and completing activities — to buy memorable souvenirs from the flea market hosted by the teachers. They need to bargain in Chinese to get the best price!
